How many bets are in a round robin?

A round robin creates every possible parlay of a chosen size from a larger set of selections. The number of tickets is calculated with the combination formula nCr, where n is the total number of selections and r is the number used in each parlay.

For example, six selections played as 3-leg parlays create 20 separate combinations. If you stake the same amount on each combination, total exposure is the number of combinations multiplied by the stake per combination.

Return estimate

Because every selection can have a different price, the exact payout of each ticket depends on the legs inside that ticket. The calculator therefore uses the average decimal odds you enter to show an estimated per-combination return and the theoretical maximum gross return if every combination wins.

• More selections can increase the number of combinations very quickly.
• A small stake per ticket can still produce a large total outlay.
• The average-odds return is an estimate; actual tickets should be checked individually.
• Void or push rules can change the number and size of settled combinations.
