What this Teaser Calculator can calculate reliably

Sportsbooks set teaser prices and rules themselves, so a genuine calculator should not invent a payout from the number of points moved. Instead, this tool uses the teaser price actually offered by the sportsbook, your stake, the number of legs and your estimated probability that each adjusted leg wins.

It calculates the gross return, profit, break-even probability of the offered price and an estimated combined win probability if the leg probabilities are treated as independent and equal.

Using the probability estimate carefully

The combined model probability is the per-leg probability raised to the number of legs. Real teaser legs can be correlated, so this is a simplifying assumption rather than a guarantee. Correlation, push rules and key-number movement can materially change the true probability.

Before placing a teaser

• Enter the sportsbook’s actual final teaser price, not the standard spread price.
• Check how pushes are graded.
• Confirm whether correlated legs are allowed.
• Compare the calculated break-even rate with your own probability estimate.
